Course Description

This course uses caring and symptom science as a basis for exploring assessment and integrative approaches to self-management of common symptoms. An evidence-based, whole person approach to symptom control is emphasized. This course will provide students interested in health sciences as well as the pre-health science professions (Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health, etc.), with a background in caring, symptom science, and integrative health.
