Course Description
This course uses an evidence-based approach to explore the impact of caring on optimal healing environments. Multiple dimensions of healing environments will be emphasized including people within the environment, processes used for giving care, and the physical environment where caring takes place. The impact of the healing environment on health and wellbeing will also be explored. This course will provide students interested in health sciences as well as the pre-health science professions (Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health, etc.), with a background in caring, healing environments, and integrative health.
