Course Description

This course examines global ethical principles, global nursing competencies and frameworks that guide nursing leadership and practice in a global context. Learners will explore the relationships between health, human rights and global inequities, cultural humility and attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals that inform global nursing leadership to achieve equity and social justice to improve global health outcomes. This course will provide students interested in health sciences as well as the pre-health science professions (Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health, etc.), with a background global ethical principles applied to nursing leadership and practice.
