Course Description
PSIO 497L (3 credits) is designed to promote effective communication, teaching and mentoring for the group leaders associated with the PSIO 101 freshmen course. To attain this objective, you must have been selected to work as a group leader in PSIO101. Discussion and practice of transferable skills such as leadership, active learning, problem solving, conflict resolution and techniques for constructive feedback, will support the group leaders' ability to establish an effective learning environment within their working groups, while also enhancing their own skill set.
