Course Description
Learn how to turn data into meaningful graphics. Design and create data visualizations to help understand and communicate findings and implications. Learn to use visualization applications including open source data visualization tools. Students will also learn to evaluate the effectiveness of visualization designs, and critically analyze each design decision, such as choice of color and choice of visual encoding method.
