This course provides a comprehensive overview of the assessment and evidence-based nursing interventions for specific disease processes in the pediatric patient. The learner will explore common pediatric illnesses requiring nursing intervention from a developmentally appropriate, body system approach. In addition, the learner will explore the pediatric nurse's role in palliative and end of life care of the pediatric patient.
