Course Description
This course addresses midwifery competencies in complex gynecologic care. It builds on the foundational content and competencies introduced in previous semesters, this course focuses on the outpatient monitoring, management, consultation, and collaboration of more complex gynecologic issues. This course addresses health disparities, impact of discrimination and bias on health outcomes and seeks to identify strategies to improve health equity. Successful completion of this course is required for graduation.
