This course is designed to prepare students in the midwifery specialty to apply principles of pharmacotherapeutics in the clinical setting to manage reproductive and sexual health needs. Students will develop evidence-based techniques to select appropriate pharmaceutical therapies considering access to care and a shared decision-making model. Successful completion of this course is required for graduation.
