Course Description
This course will equip students with skills in identifying and working with maternal and child health information and data systems in the United States. We will explore various data sources typically used to inform maternal and child health and public health practice. The course will also cover fundamental ways secondary sources inform public health practice, interpret and present data from secondary sources. Students will be equipped with basic skills in identifying, accessing, interpreting, and utilizing maternal and child health (MCH) data systems at the national and state levels.
