Course Description
This course introduces the historical context, contemporary social issues, and the intersections of identity and the health experiences of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer plus (LGBTQ+) communities. Throughout the course we will explore the diversity within the LGBTQ+ communities, pressing public health issues affecting LGBQT+ communities, and health disparities impacting LGBTQ+ individuals and communities.
