Course Description
This course is the final of six required professional development workshops in the Ph.D. program in Government and Public Policy. It is designed to prepare fourth-year students to discuss their research and general skill sets with audiences beyond academic circles. We will examine and engage in activities like writing op-eds or blog posts as well as other public-facing methods for sharing research, developing policy-relevant research questions, incorporating public engagement into our classrooms, and pursuing employment outside academia.
