Students will consider how diversity and lack of diversity, equity and inequity, inclusion and exclusion impact mental health, mental illness and our system of justice. Using different perspectives on the functional structures of social justice and how the legal system impacts people with mental disorders, diagnosis and treatments, students will consider reforms needed to improve mental health programs to be more responsive to individual, community and society's concerns.
