ENGL540 - User Experience (UX) Writing and Content Strategy

EnglishGraduateUA - UA General

Course ID

042556

Course Description

This course introduces audience-centered practices for writing, testing, and managing content for products, services, and experiences. Students will engage these practices at two levels: content strategy, which is about creating consistency across content platforms, and user experience (UX) writing, which is about writing for specific interfaces and contexts. These content practices at both levels are grounded in equity design principles that emphasize accountability for the effectiveness, inclusiveness, and impacts of content, so students will learn how to approach user experience writing and content strategy as a relationship with the people who use and are impacted by the content.
