Course Description
This 1-credit co-curricular writing courses supports courses from a variety of disciplines and academic program across the university. Students will be able to customize the activities of this course to align with the writing projects of another course in which they are currently enrolled. Students will investigate the role of rhetorical context in shaping a text. They will also explore the shapeshifting nature of linguistic tone and style in the construction of a text for a specific context. Students will also practice finding, synthesizing, and documenting sources, using the appropriate system of documentation for their disciplinary field.
