Course Description
This course provides an in-depth exploration and understanding of the body positive concepts, and an introduction to weight-inclusive approaches to health. Many people struggle with body dissatisfaction and their relationship with food. This course aims to discuss size-diversity as a doorway to a body positive approach to health and personal growth. It will include review of the five core competencies of The Body Positive®; Reclaim Health, Practice Intuitive Self-Care, Cultivate Self-Love, Declare Your Own Authentic Beauty, and Build Community. These competencies will be reviewed and serve to enrich the views on well-being in our community, and how that can start with ourselves
