Course Description
The MILAGRO (Migration Interprofessional Leading to Action and Growth) Collaborative provides students the opportunity to participate in a collaborative response to address migration in the borderlands of Southern Arizona and Northern Mexico. The course is a partnership with community organizations and is taught by an interprofessional group of faculty and staff, who represent all four Tucson-based University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS) colleges. Students will work directly with migrant serving partner organizations through service hours.
