Course Description
The Grief Teachings elective teaches students to facilitate Grief Teachings sessions, including the skills for medical debriefing, grief processing, and group facilitation. Students will also continue to work on their own coping skills and tools for processing grief and death in the medical field. Students will participate in facilitator training, skills building practices, and the facilitation of 1-4 Grief Teachings sessions for students in the clerkship phase.
