Course Description
Architectural engineering is multi-disciplinary approach to the planning, design, construction and operation of buildings. This includes the analysis and design of integrated systems (e.g., mechanical, power, lighting, etc), structures, construction engineering/management, and building components/materials (e.g., behavior and properties). This course will emphasize selected topics associated with design and analysis of individual or integrated building systems. This course will draw from relevant industry sectors, building systems and building science topics. (1-3 credits, can be repeated for different topics)
