Course ID
042696
Course Description
The skills needed for inclusive mentorship are gleaned over time and built through the combined experience of being both a mentee and a mentor. The goal of this course is to accelerate the process of becoming an effective scientific mentor by providing you with a toolkit for scientific mentorship while enhancing your own capacity as a mentee. In this course you will be developing a scaffold of practices and strategies for building your own robust mentor-mentee relationships, cultivating opportunities to actively practice your mentorship skill set, and participating in forums designed to help you prevent and resolve mentorship dilemmas. This course centers on helping you identify and augment your own mentorship voice and style, through the \"Entering Mentoring\" curriculum to complement your framework design process.
