Course Description

In this class, you will learn about how the legal system is responding to the impacts of climate change on natural resources, the built environment, and public health. We will consider the effects of legal rules and decisions on the environment, economy, and equity (climate justice). The sources of climate adaptation law we will study include international treaties and agreements, multi-state statutes, state law, and local ordinances.
