Course Description
This 7-week course will focus on effective writing skills for applications to fall graduate fellowship programs. Using the National Science Foundation graduate fellowships format, students will construct outlines, introductions, and fellowship proposal drafts of a project of their choice. Other course topics will include personal statement narratives. Students will learn about and apply peer review to improve the drafts of others. At the end of this course, students will have polished drafts ready to submit for graduate fellowship opportunities.
