Course Description
The K-8 Health Connections Internship program has been designed to help increase health literacy in the K-8 student population. This course will train UA Senior students interested in health care to serve as Health Connectors who will share their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for the health sciences with K-8 students. UA students will learn developmentally appropriate teaching and assessment strategies, develop age-appropriate educational modules on health science topics to be shared in local K-8 classrooms.
