This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth look specifically at selected production operations topics. Topics Include operations strategy, product design for manufacturing, process design, forecasting, aggregate sales and operations planning, capacity management, Materials Resource Planning, production scheduling, and lean/quality principles used in production. Coursework will explore both the quantitative and qualitative techniques that are available to contemporary business managers.
