Course Description
This course offers an introduction to Breast Imaging. The goal of this course is to allow students to gain a better understanding of breast imaging and related imaging-guided procedures. Students will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the acquisition of imaging exams, radiologist interpretation of exams, and the indication/rationale for those exams. Students will also present an interesting breast imaging case to one of the residents or attendings via PowerPoint by the end of the rotation.
