Course Description
This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to work with individuals and organizations in the community to assess and prioritize community health needs, and to design, implement, and assess the effects of interventions to address those needs. Students will receive instruction in methods for the application of the social marketing approach in planning health promotion interventions aimed at reducing health inequity. They will gain skills in techniques for promoting the sustainability of effective interventions and programs.
