Course Description

Classical nonparametric statistics study the analogs of the one- and two-sample t-tests and analysis of variance, e.g., the sign test, median test, Wilcoxon test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Anderson-Darling test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Friedman test, and permutation tests. Additional topics include exact tests of independence; nonparametric regression and confidence interval estimates.
