This course introduces a wide range of topics essential to prevent and control infections in a variety of healthcare and other congregate settings. This course will prepare students for the associate in Infection Prevention and Control (a-IPC) credential exam, highlight infection prevention in resource limited settings, and will introduce foundational concepts in healthcare epidemiology.
