Course Description

This course is designed to inform students about the application journey ahead of them based on their personal career trajectory within the broad field of medicine. This course will provide insight into how a professional resume, personal statement, and interviews are used in the selection of applicants through the lens of various medical professions. Students will hear from admissions directors, admissions deans, and recent applicants from several different graduate programs to gain valuable insight on what is considered an ideal applicant to their respective program. Students will also obtain a deeper understanding of professional program selection committees and their considerations in selecting candidates for their program.
