Course Description

This class offers an introduction to the law and regulatory issues raised by human activity in outer space. The topics covered will include: mining and other property claims in space; space tourism; traffic management; communications satellites; and military use of outer space. The intended audience for this course is broad, but it is aimed at graduate students in law and the sciences. No prior scientific or legal knowledge is required, but an interest in both is essential.
