Course ID
042944
Course Description
The Professional and Personal Development Course is a longitudinal course with dedicated bursts of time throughout the four years of medical school. This course will provide: 1. Readiness for clerkships by providing generalized content and specialty-specific, just-in-time curriculum. 2. Integrated activities with the Longitudinal Patient Care Course focusing on interprofessional education. 3. An opportunity for students in the clerkship, elective, and selective phases of undergraduate medical education to convene to meet specific educational goals (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) that are best addressed while students are actively involved inpatient care rather than pre-clerkship years. 4. Flexibility for student personalization for professional identity formation and lifelong learning and wellness habits.
