Course Description
PSIO 496R will introduce students to: 1. the scientific method and current practical/ procedural methods pertaining to biological research with a focus on the physiology research field; 2. background knowledge on hypothesis generation and experimental design commonly used in physiological and biomedical research; 3. current research in Physiology and Biomedical Sciences, as presented by leaders in the field or published in peer-reviewed papers; 4. practical personal experience in oral scientific presentations.
