Course Description

This course will teach effective communication skills, which are critical for success no matter what setting you work in as a future pharmacist. The goal of this course is to teach you how to effectively communicate in a variety of settings with people who may be similar or different from you in terms of background or status. In addition to general communication skills, students will learn to effectively interview and educate patients. This goal will be accomplished by exposing you to a broad array of topics related to communication, human behavior, and the top 200 drugs, while having you participate in activities that allow you to practice these skills and build your confidence.
