Course Description

This course focuses on cognitive processes relevant to human communication including attention, memory, and executive functioning. Our focus will primarily be on non-disordered cognitive development across the lifespan. The concepts students learn in this class are foundational knowledge for subsequent clinical courses that will address the ramifications of cognitive deficits on speech, language, and communication, and students will be expected to know this prerequisite information in future courses.
