Course Description
This seven-week clinically-focused course is the first in a sequence of courses providing foundational information about Assessment in Speech-Language Pathology. Students will gain competency in the perceptual assessment of speech and language. After completion of this course, it is expected that students will understand the basic framework involved in a speech-language pathology perceptual assessment and be prepared to apply this information in mentored, supervised experiences completing comprehensive evaluations in clinical settings.
