Course Description
This course will introduce students to providing inclusive, equitable, and culturally affirming speech, language, and hearing services in health care and educational settings. We will explore issues of diversity, inclusion, privilege, bias, oppression, and discrimination from the personal perspective, the interpersonal perspective, and the structural level. Case scenarios and personal reflections will be included.
