Course Description
This workshop is in partnership with Mexzona Medical Services, LLC, a non-profit organization and UA Pre-health Club. The goal of Mexzona is, to improve health outcomes in the communities of Sonora, Mexico by increasing healthcare accessibility while providing clinical opportunities to pre-health students. Students will work with faculty in the School of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness to deliver culturally responsive community nutrition curriculum to underserved individuals in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. Travel is required to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico one weekend per month for the semester
