Course Description

This comprehensive course merges paramedic preparation and essential Anatomy & Physiology (A+P) principles to equip aspiring paramedics with a strong foundation for pre-hospital care. Students explore paramedics' roles within emergency medical systems, covering EMS systems, injury prevention, health promotion, legal and ethical considerations, evidence-based practice, medical terminology, and communication. The course also reviews human anatomy and physiology, including major body systems, pathophysiology, and the impact of life span development on patient care.
