Course Description

This course offers a comprehensive exploration of cardiology for paramedics. Students will gain expertise in assessing and managing cardiac emergencies, covering topics such as risk factors, anatomy, physiology, ECG interpretation, dysrhythmias, and specific heart diseases. Students will also Essential techniques like defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and transcutaneous pacing. The curriculum also addresses cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac death.
