Course Description

Focuses on advanced content related to the field of early intervention and home visiting services. Prepare students to collaborate with families when working with children from birth to age three who are at-risk for or have developmental delays. Emphasis on professional intervention, infant toddler mental health, family coaching models and family collaborations within the home environment. Students will address strengths and weaknesses related to interagency collaboration, policies related to Part C services and service coordination. Beneficial for pre-speech, occupational, physical and rehabilitation majors.
