Course Description
This elective is designed to provide the opportunity for students to obtain a rich public health focused primary care experience working with the people experiencing homelessness. Students will work in an interprofessional team to provide daily care to patients both in a respite and ambulatory setting. Students will be expected to study the specific issues facing homelessness and enhance their ability to identify and treat the social determinants of health.
