Course Description

This course is intended to introduce the students to fundamental principles of DoD mission, structure, operations, and culture and give them a sense of what it takes to become a successful DoD employee. Topics include, but not limited to: DoD organization, authorities and responsibilities; mission and structure of military services; the DoD innovation and acquisition ecosystem and what it takes to develop and deliver an operational capability; critical technologies and their importance to the DoD strategic mission and the importance of multidisciplinary, diverse teams in providing innovative solutions to future DoD challenges.
