Course Description

This course focuses on the role the DoD acquisition community plays in supporting the US national security mission, the structure of the community within the DoD and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders - including other DoD departments and agencies, the US Congress and other US Government agencies, allies, the defense industry, and academia. In addition, this course explores the vital role that technology plays in the acquisition process. Finally, the challenges and opportunities that the acquisition community is facing now and in the near future are explored
