Course Description

Performing in film, and television and theatre requires knowledge of the medium involved, its unique challenges, techniques, and vocabulary. Topics in Performance offers the student a focused study on a particular performance technique or practice. Examples of topics include: voice and movement, improvisation, historical and contemporary performance styles, devising and writing original performance texts, auditioning, acting and self-producing in both live and filmed productions.
