Course Description

Skin disorders and diseases frequently cause individuals to seek medical treatment or to attempt often risky at-home approaches that can injure or permanently scar the skin. Thus, there is interest in understanding how human skin functions and interacts with environmental elements and how the use of approved, efficacious pharmacological treatments can be safely used to resolve most skin issues. In this course, students will learn the most medically important skin conditions and how they are identified and treated.
