Course Description
This course provides licensed emergency medical technicians (EMT) with a strong foundation in EMS education and experience as student educators. Students will explore important aspects of pre-hospital management and education, following the curriculum recommendations from the 2002 DOT/NHTSA National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors and the 2021 National Education Standards. This course allows students to become EMS instructors in the state of Arizona.
