Course Description

This course is designed for the paramedic student to provide them with their first real-life exposure to patient care as paramedics. Students will be expected to complete a nationally-required number of clinical hours and skills such as IVs in multiple clinical settings such as level-1 trauma bays, pediatric emergency rooms, intensive care units (ICUs) and labor/delivery. Completion of 80% of hours in clinical settings is required prior to moving to field internships.

Course Requisites
