Course Description

An introduction to the basic ideas behind the qualitative research using Grounded Theory Methodology in social science. Objectives include learning about data collection, description, analysis, and interpretation in qualitative research. Emphases will be on collecting data through observation and interviewing, and on analyzing and interpreting the collected data using the tenets of grounded theory.
