This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts, theories, and practical applications essential for providing effective counseling in Human Service Practice. Emphasis is placed on understanding the basic principles and theoretical foundations of counseling approaches and techniques used in human services settings, developing active listening skills, intake skills, and skills for positive action and change.
