The course will examine current topics and issues within the sport and recreation environment from a variety of perspectives including philosophy, sociology, psychology, public health, education, as well as economics/business. Students will engage with current research and debates related to the role of recreation and sport in society, with a focus on potential implications for leaders and policy-makers in these fields.
