Course Description

Augmented reality is an emerging technology that has become increasingly widely used in various domains. It enables a more immersive user experience by overlaying digital information onto the real world. It encompasses many disciplines, such as computer science, human-computer interaction, game design and development, information science, and psychology. This course merges a theoretical, practical, and project-based approach to give students the necessary knowledge required to design and develop their own augmented reality projects. Best practices regarding designing for augmented reality, and developing augmented reality games in C# using the Unity game engine will be covered.
